Pretty indifferent to this holiday, but it's not a good sign if your gf puts a lot of emphasis on Valentine's Day. You can literally have Valentine's Day any day of the year, it's nothing special.

Yeah I heard a testimonial on a particular Valentine's Day service on satellite radio commercial. The girl said, "Yeah he sent the gifts to my job, made all the other guys look bad." LOL, it really is ridiculous what this day has devolved into.

The only thing I think is stupid about today is guys spending $80 or more on stupid roses to have sent to his lady. ESPECIALLY if she likes it because she thinks it makes her look better.
