Thanks man. I appreciate everything you, Ravens, Legend do on here. We are not in the severe areas but the lightning strikes and house rattling thunder sure make it unnerving.

Look at the van and the pole that went thru windshield and right where a driver would sit. Of all the damage this one sticks out to me. Amazing how it was broken somewhere else and then swirled around in air and landed right there. This one has to be cat 4 looking at all the damage.

Also look at red suv and the sunroof is slid open. I doubt anyone left it open with rain/storms predicted so did tornado do that?

The one that went through Morris, OK went right over my house. Trees are down everywhere but miraculously, none hit and did damage to my house. Kids were scared, but now the 5 year old is out hunting frogs.

What a helpless feeling it must be when one is headed straight towards you.

Prayers up for all those impacted.

Very awful scene in Sulphur, OK this morning.

Apparently the same tornado (or at least a tornado from the same storm) caused two deaths northeast of Sulphur. Sounds like a baby was one of the victims.

Awful. Prayers out for those folks.

We probably live about 30 miles away from each other.

That tornado went just south of my home.

Glad you missed it. Do you have inground shelter? I have one in my garage which was built in with the house. Its nice to have a place to go fast if needed.

Images from Marietta, OK Tornado. Would appear as if cars and semis were tossed off the interstate last night next to the Dollar Tree DC that was impressively shredded to bits.

No. We had about 0 warning. The news was watching a system NE of here then this one spun up. Looking at the damage, it spun up directly over my house. There isn't much tree damage back to the SW. It starts at my house and goes all the way into morris. It was on the ground tearing shite up for about 6 or 7 miles

I’m guessing this was around the time the Norman tornados started ramping up which then went into MWC/Choctaw and further. So news coverage was hyper focused on that vs other areas.

Glad all turned out ok for you. It does happen so fast.

That Sulphur tornado formed right over the town. There wouldn't have been a whole lot of verified lead time on it for those folks. That's the nightmare scenario, a nocturnal violent tornado hitting a town.

Another complication was what was going on back in the Norman/OKC area with the coverage of the whack-a-mole spin ups that part of the line was producing. You really have to have a good accounting of your priorities in a situation like that. The large metro area had tornadoes, but they weren't at all life threatening. At the same time you had small towns under threat of potentially violent tornadoes. It is almost a lose/lose situation for an on-air met.

That looks like a mobile home. The porch is still there, but the only identifiable part of the trailer is the undercarriage/frame. You just cannot stay in one of those on a night like last night.
