South MIlwaukee actually. Ten lane house. I'm no good but it's fun. One of my teammates rolled a 300 game/800 series a few weeks ago.

Central has a bunch of stupid people running their school system. What a bunch of idiots.

I do believe it may be an overreaction, but that forecast is horribly wrong. Its going down to 18 at LEAST all over 10/12 areas from BR to Northshore

well its straight from weatherunderground.
eta: they updated the low from 28 to 24. 28, 24, 18. at 7am it will be mid 20s. closing the school is pretty funny.

wu has it 3 or so degrees warmer. i think you are quibbling over the wrong thing personally. even if your forecast is more accurate it doesnt matter.

I dont understand what these weather sites are doing with the Low temps now on their forecast. The Low temps on just say tuesday isnt what actually happens at 6 am in the morning on tuesday like it used to.

here's my thing...
say school is canceled on the first day or so they come back due to weather
the day they make up is added onto the end of the school year. that's bullshite bc kids don't get any instruction on the last day. it's all messing around with friends and half of Chalmette High wasn't even there on the last day when i was in school

The local catholic school, St. Alphonsus, actually used a little common sense that is apparently missing from Central School Systems. They told everybody it they will have a one day free dress day so the kids can wear the appropriate winter clothes. Further proof that uniforms are unnecessary in our schools. Central could have done the same but it would have actually taken some thinking from people getting paid 150K plus to make.

Well they normally build in hurricane days each year. How many days did they get off for hurricanes this year?

what are you talking about. School was out on Monday anyway.
Talking about being off on Tuesday. Kids are scheduled to go back on Tuesday that has now been pushed back to Wednesday.
