the worst thing about it is the bike doesnt match the title bc the frame is completely custom so we were not sure if the cops would even be able to match it. plus the nola cops are surely not worried about our atv being stolen. they probably woulndt have came anyway
was it insured? if so, file report, collect $, call it a day.

If your friend posted it for sale on cl, just do another post with one for sale using a new email address. What until it is him that contacts you and set him up.

The number you posted probably isn't a cell, it's a VOIP. You can't do a simple reverse lookup and I'm not sure the sites that sell the service would work for VOIP numbers. That number may be part of Google Voice, but Google gets their numbers from Bandwidth.com. (504) 541-xxxx can be Alltel, Verizon, Pinger, and other services over VOIP. So, it looks like it's a landline sold thru a reseller/provider.
Without going into detail, the Latitude and Longitude of the line is available in a database search and the location is in a really trashy area of Bywater. A lot of the databases are out of date, and it's posible the location it gives is off. You'd probably get yourselves killed just knocking on the wrong door. Besides, it's likely long gone from there anyway.
Bandwidth.com will provide the data to police, so if you are going to pursue it, give them this site and let them handle it:

Thanks guys I appreciate all the help. We are puttin it out there on many forums and cl to make sure if it tries to sale we can spot it. Like said before it was completely custom so unless it's parted out there is no amount of spray paint that would cover all the powder coat.
