Old enough to remember Carlotta Street parties … too old to remember which board you’re on.

Mid 90's here. It was buck wild. So many people, zero fricks given. Cops started causing problems in the late 90's and it was done for.

Went to one sometime late 90s/2000-ish. Was still pretty fun.

One time, had a friend dressed as a hillbilly, he drove around to find some roadkill… found a dead armadillo and tied onto a rope and dragged it around all night. It was crazy, you would just go into peoples houses/yards and didn’t know anyone but everyone had a blast

I remember going in 2008 dressed as Obama, and was giving out joints of shwag for free with a sign that said "Stimulus Package."

In 07 I went as a Terrorist, complete with Sultan costume, and I took a broom handle, cut it into 8 inch or so pieces, painted them red and taped them together with electrical tape like and strapped it on like a bomb vest.

My brother in law and his future wife actually lived in the mint green house on carlotta street back then, and a good time was had by all.

I had good times at Carlotta street party during my time there. The acid and ecstasy flowed pretty freely in some of the yards and houses.
