I never stretch. I'm an idiot. Just foam and lax ball rollout.
Foam rolling is just as good to get those kinks out, but I love having flexibility and strength in places I didn't even know existed.

Like a couple nights of crazy sex when you have weird muscles soar you didn't know existed.

I can't tell if you're being sarcastic or not.
Bro, weight training and cardio 6 days a week is intense. If you're lifting for 45 minutes and then doing 30 minutes of cardio later that day, that is pretty intense.
Personally, I would do the cardio in the morning and then lift in the evening, but that's just me.
But, I do yoga at least once a week.

Also, if I'm looking to cut some weight, what type of drink should I be drinking and when should I be drinking it?
And, if you're looking to cut weight with your workouts, I'd recommend alternating cardio + weights (e.g., 10 minutes cardio, 1 set weights, 10 minutes cardio, 1 set weights, etc.). It increases weight loss and improves recovery time.

I do cardio in the morning and weights in the afternoon

I try to change up the routine every six weeks or so...this one sounds interesting.

It's not necessarily the best for building muscle, but it's great for cutting weight. The idea is that your heart rate stays high throughout your entire workout. [HIIT is also good for weight loss, but that's a different story.] The increased circulation cleanses muscles of metabolites more quickly, thereby improving recovery time.

My current plan is weight training six days a week and cardio every day. I'm 10-12 lbs out from where I want to be.
Overtraining is probably the most common mistake for noobs.

I did a workout routine like that. Toughest part was eating enough and making sure your body got what it needed. You have to take in so much or you're going to lose fat AND muscle.
If you want to get leaner, do more core exercises and calisthenics. You won't bench press 400 pounds, but you can get in pretty fantastic shape.

Should I do cardio before or after I lift? Does it impact the effectiveness of lifting? I've always done cardio immediately after lifting.
CW has always said after, but I've always done it before to great effect (and I'm talking 3+ miles and/or 30+ minutes). Especially if you're looking to cut.

Water. Water water water.

Dropping weight requires a higher ratio of protein to carbs and fats than bulking, so I wouldn't necessarily "drop the shakes."
If you can, fasted cardio in the morning jumpstarts your metabolism and causes you to attack fat stores in the body (theoretically). That's why people say to do it first if you separate cardio from lifting.
The most effective way to get gains is to lift with energy and focus to work at a high intensity. Typically, this requires some form of energy input prior to the workout, including carbs. That's why people suggest lifting in the afternoons if you are going to separate cardio from lifting. You will naturally have eaten and given your body fuel to burn during lifting.
That said, if you can't separate them, do lifting first or your gains will be shite because you'll be too tired to really go for it. And don't do distance cardio afterwards. You want to keep high intensity to continue to break down muscle and burn fat, so do sprint intervals. If you do distance running, my understanding is that you will lose much of the work you just put in on the weights. Sprint intervals have been shown to create more lean muscle than distance running, too.

I usually do a shorter cardio before I do my lifting.

I separate my cardio and my lifts into different days
Cardio Sunday-Tuesday (hour or so on an elliptical) with some core and body weight exercises after
Wednesday night I go to a jujitsu class which is some major frickin cardio and good for working those muscles you don't even know you have
Then I lift Thursday thru Saturday so I'm cutting a lot of fat and toning up

Never stretch before a workout- use a foam roller and/or do light cardio for about 10 minutes (treadmill, stationary bike or rowing machine) and then stretch after the workout.
