I absolutely did give him credit too. There's swallowing pills by your bedside, and then there's taking your 79 Nova out in a pissed off blaze of glory right the frick into Big Muddy!

It was early one morning during summer session, sometime around 2002 or 3. He lit up that levee; there were track marks alllll the way up to the top until he ran out of real estate. Vaya Con Dios, Estudiante!

The thinning of trees directly over this portion of the levee makes a lot more sense now.

ETA: Brightside. N/m I'm thinking of the campus intersection.

Seems like every few years somebody is trying to kill themselves by driving over that thing.

That area gets very foggy!

True story: my wife did the same thing when she was in high school!

It gets better. She wasn't the first person to do it THAT NIGHT.

Her car went over the levee and landed ON TOP of another car that had just done the same thing! Luckily the other people had already gotten out of the car and were on top of the lever waiting for help.

Probably not a bad spot for a blinking light - blinking red on Brightside and blinking yellow on River Road.

Pretty sure that is because of a pipeline.
