If you live in Baton Rouge, then you are past due

who in the hell puts a car on the rack to test for an alignment when the car was brought there to fix the window motor?
Nissan got my wife with this. In for a recall and she leaves with a bill for other services.

Not that this has much relevance to your situation, but when was the last time you had the tires realigned?
You do not align tires.

Plenty of Dealerships.
Many do a multi-point inspection of the vehicle when it's brought in for any issue while still under warranty. My dealership does a once-over when they change my oil. Effectively, it's better to catch an issue while it's cheap (for the dealership) to fix instead of a major issue down the road that could have been avoided.
That being said, it's plausible they could just be trying to get your money.

A) They don't have to put it on a rack to do the test. My Audi dealership does it every time I take the car in for maintenance.
B) You'd rather wear out the tires and have to buy new ones prematurely? Smart thinking there, fella.

so.......while I'm offshore, my aunt brings my daughter's car to a dealership for me. it has a recall on the window motor. nevertheless, she calls to let me know that they told her that it needs an alignment for 70.00. I told her to tell them to get fricked. who in the hell puts a car on the rack to test for an alignment when the car was brought there to fix the window motor?
My wife has CRV. It has like 25k on it and the lovely folks at royal honda told her she NEEDED new pads and rotors. Dishonest mother frickers. Luckily I was able tell her hell no before she let them do it.

Yeah. Had my car in last Friday for a recall, and they found $1750 worth of "repairs".

This kind of thing happens all the time.

Of course it does, but my car probably doesn't even have a book value of $1750. Those frickers wanted $190 to flush my radiator. Egregious.
