Car in Gulf Shores, AL Mardi Gras parade hits band members

Apparently the car was a part of the parade. Several high school band members were hit and injured.

This was an elderly couple who was in the parade and following the band.
Must have it the gas instead of the brake.
Sucks for everybody....not at all like the Nola incident.

You can't plow into something you are already a part of, so "another car has plowed into a Mardi Gras parade" is inaccurate, as the car (van) was following the band in the parade.

Link says they cancelled the parade and closed the route. Endymion barely slowed down.
