car dealers posing as private sellers on craigslist?

went to check out a car in metairie this weekend that was in the "for sale by owner" section of craigslist. i had been texting the "owner" and was led to believe i was talking to a private seller. i pull up to the address he gave and its a shitty used car lot with a buncha dudes standing around smoking black n milds. guy says he had cleaned up the interior for me and when i asked what he used he seriously says "febreeze". car had no inspection sticker and fricked up power steering.

out of curiosity i asked what the total would be after tt&l and somehow it jumps from $3500 to $4250 (just got out of school yall cut me a break). i asked to see this itemized and he hit that dumbfrick caught in some BS stance (lookin at the ground scratchin the back of his head). i gtfo of there.

admittedly i could have asked more questions before driving to metairie but DAMN it has got to be against some rule for dealers to pose as owners on craigslist. the whole point of it being separated is for people who want to avoid dealerships.

sorry for the rant i just hate grimey mfers.
