Wife probably asked him to join her for an event he had no desire in attending. He used the grass cut excuse and had to get it done before her return home.
I cut mine in the rain yesterday morning to avoid the in-laws.

I'm sure it is to keep animals out but with a view of the Alberta plains country like that, there is no way I'd block it out with a solid fence...

Husband: No, after the Hockey game, and it's supposed to storm.
Wife: You said that When Montreal was still in the Playoffs.
Husband: I'll get to it after the game.
Wife: (on Phone) Mom, how are you, you doing anything this week, if not why not come stay with us.
