I have a friend who started this crap. I would have never in a million years think i would see her involved with this kind of scheme.

Is there hope to get her out of it or should I just let it runs its course?

Tell her to read Merchants of Deception and watch anti-Amway Youtube videos, as well as visit the blog married to an Ambot

I know Amway and Plexus are two different entities but they operate the exact same way. Uplines exploiting downlines and the money isnt in selling the product but by selling tickets to seminars/functions, motivational tapes and books

It's a pyramid scheme dietary plan that's expensive and unproven

Thats because these MLM companies are like cults. They brainwash their worker drones and give them programming and talking points to any objection.

My parents and a few uncles/aunts were in Amway when i was growing up. Ruined my family financially and even after the ruin still took years for my parents to fully unplug from it all and free themselves from the brainwashing and programming

My mom tells me some crazy stories about the shite the amway leaders would do at functions. Its a cult.

Amway is a scam. All the money is in selling the "tools" and not the products itself, and you can only sell the tools at a certain pin level.

A mom of one of my son's classmates has got into using and selling this Plexus stuff. She's like a born again evangelical Plexus junkie. Its kinda creepy.

It's the Mary Kay system applied to diet plans.

Think Ideal Protein but forced on you by friends who think you're fat and gullible

So plexus is one of those 'companies' that sells a 'product' but that 'product' in all reality is just getting someone to hop aboard the pyramid scheme?

My best friend is doing something like this.. he quit his job over a year ago and now has a new house, and a brand new Dodge Durango, so obviously he's making money.. something just doesn't feel right about these types of companies though and I hope it doesn't all blow up in his face
