You're clearly the idiot that didn't scroll all the way down on the Web page you were on. Right under the part you quoted is a section titled "children" and then a huge section titled "forgot your id" that describes exactly what I listed.

I'll include the link to cite my source instead of copying and pasting only select parts. You must be a Democrat since you do not fully disclose facts.

tsa forgot your id?

Of course the tsa doesn't advertise this because they like people that comply and the more people without id's cause longer wait times. Very similar to how you can opt out of the body scanner which also requires additional tsa resources and is frowned upon by them, but I'm sure you already knew that from reading one part of a Web page, right ya idiot?

Edit: apologies if you're just a typical Alabama fan with a below average reading comprehension level

I know the part about forgetting your ID and what not but the rule is you need an ID and the exception is verifying your identity without identification. You said ID was not required but it is. They still need to verify your identity or you are not getting past. In my case, I chose not to be an arse when they refused to let me past and get stuck on some list of theirs as travel is a huge part of my job. It simply isn't worth it to argue with them and end up on a youtube video. I returned to my car, got my id and Delta booked me on the next flight leaving an hour later. ID is most certainly required but there are exceptions.

TSA is a federal agency right? If LA wants to enfirce this they would have to add state police to airports to do it.
