Beyoncé is definitely overrated.
Last night had a few solid performances though. Sturgill killed, and as much as I hate Katy perry I thought she had a good performance. Adele was great after stopping to restart and Bruno dominated a prince tribute.
Bruno is a ridiculous talent.

I'm not really a huge music person, especially "pop" music, but the fact that Beyonce is still more popular than artists like Adele and Bruno Mars is mind boggling to me.

She's a more popular person but I think most people with a brain know the other two are far more musically talented.
Adele is Whitney Houston level vocal ability and Bruno is a modern James Brown with a better voice and better dance moves.
Dare I say he's the best since Michael? I think so. He can do it all.

As far as music sales go, nobody is touching Adele right now. She has them all beat. Her last CD broke the record for 1st week sales in the U.S. and she is the only artist to have two diamond certified disks (10 million sold in the U.S.) in this decade. That's incredible in this day and age of poor record sales. Beyonce doesn't have one that is diamond certified. I don't think another artist has had one that is diamond certified since like 2004.
