According to her music: She like her baby hair with afros and her nose with Jackson nostrils.

According to real life: she has had a nose job and gets her hair professionally straightened.

Also, she keeps hot sauce in her bag. Which i assume means she has gonorrhea.

Gaga was about as big as they get at one time. When she had poker face and stuff. not keeping up with her career but I am guessing she didn't follow up that album quick enough to stay on top...same with Rhianna. Adelle was pretty big also

For my friends who don't understand the cultural references in Beyonce's photo shoot and Grammy performance, here's a good explanation. Oshun was an African goddess who carried twins and though I worship the one true God, I fully understand and respect HER *artistic* decision to bring representation to such a major platform.

America is currently forcing a straight white patriarchal god on its people and she's smashing that expectation, playing a role just like any actor would. So stop saying she worships demons and false gods and all that ignorant bull crap. She is a badass black woman who is full of pride and love for herself, her family and her history (who also happens to sing on one of our favorite kids worship songs to Jesus). And for the white folks, please remember not everything is for you. ??????
Happy Monday!

Formula seems pretty easy for a success
I'm not asking why she's so successful . That is pretty obvious.

It's the god-like worship she receives on social media and in pop culture that puzzles me.

She's a product that many people profit from. The industry pushes her as such and so the radio stations play it and the vast chunk of America just latches on to whatever the frick comes on the radio and never branches out of that. People have bad taste.

Beyonce is an increadibly attractive woman who is also an increadibly gifted singer who has already had a long and successful career as an entertainer. Over the last 2 years, she has begun using that influence to push a political agenda. This has caused her to be lauded in the media and loathed by conservatives.

I had no idea she was even still making music until like a year ago. I figured she was just Jay-Z's bitch for the last 10 years doing much of nothing as far as music goes. I thought that single ladies song was the last song she had that was popular, and that was like 10 years ago.
Guess i'm not hip to the world of pop music, or giving a shite about famous people.

I had to watch this shite last night, against my will, while trying to eat my 16 ounce ribeye. Looked like a naked hippo performing some African ritual. It was a disgusting sight while enjoying a terrific piece of meat. Kinda ruined the whole experience for me.

Add in the intrigue of her pushing black cultural issues, and white people will refrain from judging whether she does it well or interestingly, but just defer to her on it and claim it's genius social messaging.

In truth, it's largely vapid and uninteresting stuff about trite cultural issues in the black community (black guys with white women, black guys and attraction to light skin or other black women with "white" features). But we're white and ignorant and wow Beyonce is so insightful plus she's having kids AMAZING OMG OMG.

For clarity, I think Beyonce is talented and attractive. But they're portraying her as a cultural hero/icon, not just a talented performer. Also, Lemonade has like 40 songwriter credits.
