Can my phone be fixed locally? (Baton Rouge area) If so, where?

1 week after the year warranty mine had a brown spot show up in the middle of the screen. I went to att to show it to them, and as we were looking at it, the the spot spread and covered the whole screen locking up the phone.

they couldn't retrieve any info from it, and it was out of warranty. Never again Samsung. LG til they frick me.

Any of those strip mall places (one behind Autozone on Perkins, one on Sherwood by Wingstop, etc.) should be able to do it, but I doubt they'd have the part in stock.

I don't think you can get a new part - all the ones I can find online are refurb. That's probably why.
