We are moving and not taking the fish tank.

Can I just sneak it back into their tank?

It's one fish. A Gourami.

You shouldn't get a pet if you can't handle the responsibility. People like you are scum.

But you should probably release it into the wild.

That's a freshwater fish. All freshwater fish are edible. At least it isn't coy.

"Back?" If it's a native species, yes. If not, kill it before doing that. That practice is how Florida has a problem with boa's rt now.

I mean if you can pull it off thats one thing but it would be a dick move incase the fish has any disease or something that you would introduce to their stock

Don't release it back into the wild (unless you live where they fish is a native species which I doubt). People doing this have caused tremendous environmental damage
