I wouldn't think any of them are livable. Lots are missing doors, windows, the ac on the roof. They're just rotting away.

I drove through there yesterday and it looked like they were in the higher part of town and I didn't see any visible flood damage there. I may be wrong though

You speak the truth. We still have people coming in daily looking for apartments to rent and we've been out of all but October and November notices since last Tuesday.

I have only owned for that long. I bought it for a summer job assignment and just want to flip for even money. I'm all for helping but renting it wouldn't make sense. It's cheap, and I'd rather walk away. Whoever buys it can do the same.
