I'll never understand why so many miserable people around here find so many petty things to bitch about. Bitching that too many hicks have camo jackets in S Louisiana is like bitching that their's too many places to buy boudin on 190 between Port Allen and Opelousas and not enough sushi.

I never understood why waxed canvas jackets weren't popular on the Gulf. Maybe they are a little too warm but they are great for rain and were made for the outdoors.

What? Waxed canvas jackets like Barbour handle rain and mud better than nearly every other jacket. They were developed specifically for the sailing industry, and subsequently became the apparel for British country wear.
