We do not know where the cancer started. They are going in to find that out Monday. They cut out a lymph node in his neck.

Has anyone here ever dealt with invasive squamous cell cancer that has spread to a lymph node in the neck? Any results? Advice?

one of my brothers is fighting this. It spread from lung cancer. They removed a bunch from him. He has been fighting it going on 4 years. He has to have chemo once every two weeks. Also I have a niece that is fighting colon cancer that they removed 34 lymph's with more then half testing +. They added 8 more months of chemo to her treatments.

I have to agree with you. Although I think Tulane is top notch, their route for my moms newly diagnosed cancer was very different than MD Anderson. I'm glad she's in good hands at MD.

Very sorry to hear all of your stories and I am glad that most of you or you guys loved ones are still alive and fighting. I'm hoping my Uncle gets answers ASAP so they can start necessary treatment.
