Cliffs: Gas leak in California. It is not made public while efforts continue to seal it. Thank me later.

exactly what I was thinking...
ETA: Gas is around 50% lighter than air...there is no way in hell that it could go down 1200 feet to a home.

I don't trust anyone with my life. Believing that anyone has your best interests at heart over yourself is idiotic. That being said, I would trust the California government to consider my health more than a corporation that has a vested interest in continuing to get their product to the market, however they want to do it. Also there just isn't enough research to say what the long-term effects of prolonged exposure to natural gas are/aren't for them to think they can simply not alert the public of the issue.

There are some former military, police, and first responders that are that way, you can believe that.
