Just got my first Calcium Score (age 45) and below are the results. I am 5'7" and weigh 168, been on a low carb diet for the past 4 years. I drink occasionally and I'm not a smoker (occasional Cigar). I will be following up with my Cardiologist in the next few days to go over the results and I am against getting on a statin. I feel great and do not have High blood pressure but I do have high cholesterol. I will ask for further testing to take a closer look as I understand a CAC score is not a definite for actual arterial blockage. Anyone else here have similar situation?

Findings:
Coronary calcium scores are as follows:
Left main: 0
Right coronary artery: 0
LAD: 320
LCx: 0
PDA: 0
Other: 0
Total CACS: 320

I'm not a doctor and definitely not a cardiologist, but can say with 100% certainty that I have no idea what any of those numbers mean.

Your brain is fueled by cholesterol and it leads to brain fractures. Or so I read on the internet.

It means he is pretty clean but 30 shy of a perfect score.

What issues did you present with?

I'm 2 years old than you. Also have elevated blood pressure, cholesterol, and eat low carb. Here were my results:

The Smartscore calculation is 0.
The left main coronary artery score is 0.
The LAD score is 0.
The circumflex score is 0.
The right coronary artery score is 0.
The PDA score is 0.
Other score is 0.

Ton of possible side effects such as, muscle pain, hormone disruption, memory loss, and calcium build up.

Also only increases mortality rate by less than 1%.

In adults randomized to treatment with statins, meta-analyses demonstrated declines in the absolute risk of:

• 0.8% (95% CI, 0.4%-1.2%) for all-cause mortality
• 1.3% (95% CI, 0.9%-1.7%) for MI
• 0.4% (95% CI, 0.2%-0.6%) for stroke.

No it does not mean you have calcium in your artery but on the present on the outside of the heart. And it's just a risk factor at this point. This is why I will ask for further testing and monitoring over the coming year.

Maybe because he can fix his problems with a change in lifestyle, instead of taking a really crappy drug to stay alive
