Cable Provider- BR- football season perks

Moving into a new house in Baton Rouge- wondering if anyone has heard of any of the cable companies offering perks for new customer?
Does Direct TV still give away Sunday ticket or redzone for the 1st year? I remember 5-6 years ago seeing ads for this but haven't seen any recently.
I know I'm going to call but wanted to do research on the front end.

Yeah cox has an awesome deal. You don't pay extra for internet usage until you use 1 tb! How awesome of them right?

they all have some kind of introductory rate or package...just remember, it will expire.

You can usually negotiate with Cox or the satellite companies but all you'll get is a 2 year rate. Just tell them you are going to the competition. It's like negotiating with a car dealership now

I don't use near that much but I've been unsuccessfully trying to use the new cap as a breach to get me out of the 2 year contract I somehow agreed to.

Atleast you're not getting charged extra. Unless you agreed to that variable rate contract.

Football season is coming soon. You know what that means? Some network and cable provider will get into a contract dispute and shut your favorite channel down for two week! Awesome deal!

Get internet only, buy a Fire Stick, sign up for Sling ($20) get sports package ($5). Save more money.
