C7 Stingray or Cayman

My first foray into "fast" cars has treated me well, but now I want something a little more sporty and I no longer care if I look like a turbo-douche while doing it. So, Cayman or Stingray? Z06 is just a bit too rich for my blood unfortunately.
Cayman Pros:
Looks better
Don't see 10 of them every day
Can brag about driving a mid-engined sports car even tho I'll never take it on the track
German, so, superior
Cayman Cons:
There are none this car is perfect lol
Stingray Pros:
Good looking car
Faster 0-60 by almost a half second and let's face it, straight-line speed is all that's gonna matter for me
Will sound better than the Cayman's turbo-four
Stingray Cons:
I'd be just another dildo driving a vette

I've been there in the Caymans, it is weird to see all of those Stingrays up close.
I'd probably go again so upvote on both the Cayman and Stingray.

Sounds like you should get the Cayman. You'll never use all the speed of either one and you'll have the fastest car on the block either way. You obviously like the Porche more.

Don't mind these jealous fools. 2 things, there is no such thing as a dildo in a vette, and 2 - wait till the c8s come out next year, then you can still brag about mid-engine.

It seems you place a high value on what (you think) people think.
Given that the Vette is a superior car in every measurable category, including resale, most car guys would pick the Vette.
Not quite sure how to take some of your comments, tbh...
You may be better-suited to the Cayman.

Cayman all the way. Whatever the vette looks like on the outisde, the inside is generic as eff GM.
There is a lot inbetween those two. Decide how much you want to spend and what you want to do with what I'm assuming what will be a second car. Frequent bringatrailer.Com to get some ideas.
