Was in Sams on Sunday and noticed that they are selling the Sprint Htc Evo 4g Lte for an existing upgrade price of $168. I am planning on getting this phone soon and was just going to get it at Best Buy for $199. Sprint also sells it for $199. My last 3 phones have come from Best Buy btw.
Any advantages or disadvantages for buying at Sams other than the obvious $30 savings? Just wondering as I've never purchased a cell phone from Sams. Tia!

Sams was cheaper for my SO's phone, intially anyway.
I bought her a phone last year around Christmas at Verizon, it was around $200. A day or two later I see the same phone at sams thru Verizon for $1. I was adding her to my plan as a new line so plans were not an issue. I was pissed. Luckily Verizon had given us credits that were applied to the bill within 3 months so it all worked out to the same, but I still wished I had seen the phone at sams first.
Don't know if that answers your question. But maybe this will, if Sam's had the phone I wanted thru my service provider and was the same price or cheaper I wouldn't think twice about buying the phone there.

Thanks for the replies. Just found out the Evo 4g Lte is only $149.99 on Amazon now, so may look into that, but I'm not sure if they give you the option to keep my plan exactly as it is. I have a family plan with my SO that includes a 22% corporate discount and don't want to mess with it. If not Amazon, definitely Sams, although no tax at Amazon would be sweet.
