True, and I'm sure it would be a pain in the arse to save some of the plexiglas off to make small inserts for the cups.

This is why inflatable tables (or tables with cup inserts) suck. You can't reconsolidate.

or just cut a hole slightly smaller then the largest portion of the cup

Here is a link to find whatever plastics will work best for you. General sheets 2'x4' 1/4" thick is around $75

I think I'm going to go with the PVC and Plexiglas. If not the Plexiglas, then definitely some wood and put some resin on it.

if you cut plexi glass, go slow, dont let it get too hot. or get a plastic that cuts well.

Good Luck.

FWIW resin coated wood should be good. put a few coats, top and bottom, sand it, then paint it

If you're just trying to get some girls in bikinis drunk you don't have to go to all this trouble. Just find a pool. Offer them some free beer and chips and salsa or hummus if you want some classy bitches Panties drop. You're welcome

Get ply wood and paint it the color of your choice. Cut it to the shape of your choice. Take pool noodles and cut them right down the middle (on one side only). Wrap the noodle around the edge of the table. Where they end, drill a hole every foot or so on the board. Run zip ties through the board and around the noodle. You officially have a floatig beer pong table. I built a few before with this exact same method. Works perfect and it's probably about $40. I can help you build one if you want. Wish I had pics of the ones I've build, as they're great. I even made one with a hinge in the middle so it folded up. All I recommend is you round the edges of the board. It makes for a constant curve in the noodle and is much more manageable.

Any water resin you recommend?

I've already decided to do the PVC, it'll look cooler

ETA - You think the table will be too low to the water if I use PVC?

I don't know. Never did pvc. I had the board painted the entire 120 yards of tiger stadiums field. It looked amazing. You can make treated ply wood look really good with a little paint.

Use some larger diameter PVC, fill with great stuff foam. Should provide enough buoyancy. To keep it above the water. Or could just build two levels of PVC.

Yeah, I think I'm going to curve it up and do 2 levels..but not too high.
