The drugs were allegedly discovered during a traffic stop that happened on the same road less than three miles away from where the shooting occurred. According to the probable cause report from that arrest, Frazier was driving in the 1900 block of N. Acadian W. when an officer with the Baton Rouge Police Department claims to have witnessed him driving without "lights illuminating its license plate." The officer conducted a traffic stop and allegedly asked Frazier for permission to search the vehicle. Frazier allegedly agreed to the search and the officer claims to have recovered a pill bottle with 58 MDMA pills in it.
What is going on with the person that wrote this article?

They're conforming to basic journalism standards. He hasn't gone to court yet.

AS they're saying on FB, what does his prior criminal history have to do with the fact a cop ruthlessly killed him.
They are right, him jumping out the car with a gun..during a traffic stop is why he was killed. I know not all parents teach their kids what to do, but mine told me to roll my window down and keep my hands at "10 and 2" until the officer instructs me to do otherwise. If I have a weapon in the car, I let the officers know the location of the weapon and that I am legally concealing said weapon. I announce to the officers where I am reachcing and for what (paperwork). These things seem simple and straightforward to me, even if no one has instructed you to do so.

Highly doubt he will show up for that court date.
One or two "allegedly" would have been sufficient but I was more referring to her "the officer claims" lines. "The officer stated" is more in line with reporting. The claims thing makes it sound like she doesn't believe him to me. Just seemed like a lot of them the way she wrote it.

They have to report the facts. The fact is that he was accused of those things but was not found guilty of them at the time of reporting. That's day 1 stuff.

The man who was killed during a traffic stop by a Baton Rouge Police officer was out on bond for a recent arrest with similar circumstances to the shooting incident, according to court documents. Jordan Frazier, 35, was arrested on March 8, 2017 for possession with the intent to distribute MDMA. The drugs were allegedly discovered during a traffic stop that happened on the same road less than three miles away from where the shooting occurred. According to the probable cause report from that arrest, Frazier was driving in the 1900 block of N. Well, well, well. Who would have thunk it.

Sources said there were two officers in the police unit that initially pulled over the vehicle. They said the driver is a trainee who just graduated from the police academy and his field training officer was with him. As the training officer walked up to the driver, state police said that's when Frazier jumped out of the vehicle with a gun pointed at the officer. Sourced added perhaps Frazier did not realize there was another officer in the police car. That officer reportedly shot Frazier multiple times.
Nice

Is there a secret memo passed out in all ghettos mandating that its people multiply as much as possible? TO WHAT END???

Hell, if I had 9 kids, I feel like I'd be living in poverty.

If this is the officers I'm thinking of, there is an Asian looking officer who I always see with an older officer at BQuik on Perkins. The Asian officer looks young and is always introducing himself to other officers/people, making me think he is new. I wonder if it was that duo.,
There's also a male/female BRPD duo that I see all the time, but that's during the day shift so likely not them.

I wonder if they will eventually release the names of the officers? I selfishly would like to know who it is, but for their safety in this crazy town, I hope they don't. We don't need any more cops with a target on their back.

I'm extremely interested to see how our new mayor responds here after playing armchair quarterback for a year.
