Just an observation....But it would seem very hard to break your middle toe..

seems to be an epedimic here lately....either broken toes are contagious or everyone is just stumbling around drunk...
eta: if it is truly broken, it is going to swell like a bitch, so you need to get some ice on it pretty quickly...

Broke my middle toe on vacation a couple weeks ago by kicking a chair. Just tightly buddy tape it to the toe next to it and you'll be fine in a few days. Mine broke on top so while it was painful it hurt wearing shoes more than what it did just walking around.
