Brittany Monk and Jace Creahan were indicted by the GJ today for the murder of Robert Noce, who allegedly sexually abused Brittany and her mother for years.

This is a crazy case. You really can't help but feel that Noce got what he deserved for abusing this girl (assuming it's true, of course), but at the same time I understand that you really can't have vigilante justice in a civilized society under the rule of law.

I wonder if an EBR jury would convict them. I wonder if Hillar Moore will let it go to trial.

Why should they get off? Yes, it's sick what that man did but their actions are equally disturbing. They took justice into their own hands. They should have let the justice system do it's job. I hope they rot.

You insufferable count. They probably took actions into their own hands because of the piece of fricking shite justice system. I hope they are acquitted.

You have any proof that the justice system failed Monk?

They did. And he plead guilty and got probation. frick him. He was a waste of good oxygen.

My opinion- she won't do time-boyfriend maybe a couple years. Second degree murder is the charge so far.

The guy got off with supervised probation for molesting her since she was 4 years old. Do you call that justice? They will probably rot in jail (at least the boyfriend) but he got what he deserved.

Should be released. I like some cold blooded vigilante justice.

That still doesn't give them the right to kill him. The justice system found something incomplete for him not to do time.

It definitely did. This dude raped her for years and only did like 19 days in jail or something stupid like that. Then he got out and immediately started threatening & harassing her, which is why they killed him.

She's pregnant with Jace's kid. She'll probably get off because of sympathy, but Jace is a smug-arse little prick & not a victim, so he'll do hard time.

One less piece of shite in this world. But then again if they would have strapped him to old sparky I'd have flipped the switch- just so you know where I stand on the issue. Actually I would flip it on and off a bunch of times to see him flop like a fish.

As I recall, she refused to testify at the perp's trial. Difficult to get a conviction without victim's testimony.

Wasn't a trial. He plead out prior. Now that could have been the reason- I don't know.

It can't help but bring that old story to mind.

Will be very interesting to see it play out.

I believe the DA's decision to make a deal was greatly influenced by this.
