Anything but music. I need time to write, play and (when possible) perform. Otherwise I fall apart. Other than that I can do without all the other stuff.

I don't think I can comment because I'm not friends with him. It just showed up on my feed that several friends of mine commented on his post. If not I totally would I'm sure he knows of this site if he's that big of an LSU fan.

I've got a list (in order) of things I could sell off if I were to lose work. I have savings. And I have retirement accounts that can be accessed at a penalty if need be. I probably have enough access to money to go without a job for a year and a half and not miss any bills (might trade down a vehicle). Even in that case, I'm not above getting a job waiting tables, etc. to keep some money flow going while looking for a more permanent job. Even $1000-$1500 a month stops the bleeding of my savings account some, so it's worth it to me. I'd probably still get more time with my family than I do now as well.

Someone mentions off-shore, but I guess that is out of the question due to family (cool, I can understand that) - some mention work that requires weekend work. He states he does not want to work weekends. Not because of his kids or spending time with is family, but because of LSU sports.

also, this guy obviously isn't a poster here, otherwise, his golden parachute would buy plenty of time.

He doesn't want to settle. I can understand that. As long as he still has enough emergency reserves built up, he can afford to be choosy. However, once it comes down to working weekends or his kids going hungry, I hope he chooses working weekends.

That doesn't necessarily mean he is desperate. That just means he:
A. has no shame
B. believes that he has enough connections through there that doing so would allow his theoretical desired job to be more easily found.

It's kinda trashy, but it's not THAT big a deal. If one is asking for job advice on facebook, it's just short-cutting calling all of those people to ask them over the phone.

Well, the simple fact that you use the word "baw" confirms what an idiot you are.

If you are unemployed, no work should be off the table. I would possibly make an exception about relocation, but any work local to you should be acceptable.
