I brought 10 mini bottles of vodka when I flew to BR last month. No issues. I've never had anybody- security or flight attendant - say anything about it.

Meh, I've flown them several times. I have a few Canadian clients and I get United PQM through their star Alliance membership.

I've also had booze on their planes. Are you sure they don't serve it?

Its illegal the same way bringing your own alcohol to a bar/restaurant (in all states besides Louisiana)

I love how people just randomly state things are illegal with no factual basis. Apparently I am an outlaw in multiple states where I have brought nice wine to a restaurant and paid a corking fee. Better call the Marshals.

Seriously, it isn't illegal.

Gas stations sell "airplane shots" for a reason. Little shots of liquor that you can bring on a plane. Actually I don't know if they sell them in Louisiana. But it's not illegal to drink your own booze on a plane.

That being said, you should be capable of flying somewhere without requiring alcohol

It's illegal bc the flight attendant is technically your bartender and is "responsible for the safety of all passengers." They're supposed to limit passengers intake if they drink too much.

Oh, didn't know that

As long as you bring some extras to give to the TSA agents and flight attendants you should be fine.

Do you know how I know you're an alcoholic?

It's possible they serve alcohol for purchase, but they just don't give it for free like on some international flights.

You paid a corking fee. So you paid to drink wine at the restaurant. It's a slightly different (and illegal) situation.

I don't get the fascination with getting tanked on a plane. Especially a long flight. I like to move around when I drink, not be confined to my seat next to some fat arse who smells like cheetos

It's actually Air Canada Rouge. It's a cheap flight and they specifically mentioned no alcohol to be served

It's Toronto to Athens nonstop. It's a pretty long flight. I can't sleep on planes, so having 4-10 drinks really helps.

It just seems downright un-American to not allow drinking on an international flight.

If you watch the video he points the gun at the man filming the video, and other people in the crowd

Definitely wouldn't have stood there snapping pics
