4 day epic pass is 399 i believe

A 4-day pass during Mardi Gras is $488. I checked my old emails and last time we did Breck during the same timeframe was 2009. The same ticket was $300. That's over 7%/yr increase.

Prices are record highs for lift tickets, rentals, and lodging, yet Summit County is seeing increased tourism still.

It's just so easy to make it up from Denver.

Honkeys will pay, Vail Resorts knows this

I think day tickets at A Basin and Loveland are still around $80 though.

But i get bored after 1 day at both of those places, just not enough terrain

If you're bored at the Basin, you're skiing the wrong stuff. Not many cruiser greens and blues, but if you want steep, technical terrain, then A Basin is the place to be. 15+ days there so far this season and I still find more amazing stuff each time.

Fair enough. Less variation and choices for blues and easier blacks for intermediate skiers. The lower mountain green runs are a blast for beginners though. Wrangler and Sundance are just fun.

The runs under Lenawee are some of my favorites. Such a slow lift though.

I like taking people there because it's less stressful as a big resort. Easier parking. Easier to find friends. Plus the parking lot always is jumping with people tailgating and drinking all day.

Its a fun day but you just cant ski there multiple days in a row.

I usually stay in frisco and do 2 days at breck, 2 at keystone and 1 at a basin.

Then usually 1 long weekend trip a year to avon for a couple days each at vail and beaver creek

Next year considering doing the super pass to mix it up, havent been to steamboat or winter park in years.

That's a solid trip. Frisco is the place to be. I live in Silverthorne and love it, but Frisco would be nice just to be a little closer to work down in Breck.

I splurged on both the Epic and RMSP+ for my first season up here. Made it to Copper a few days, but haven't used anywhere else on that pass yet. 6 days at Steamboat is worth the pass though.

Actually skiing Steamboat Tuesday for a job interview with a guy.

You can get like $10 off the $154 lift ticket buying online. That's about as good as it gets. Was at Vail this year and blown away that lift tickets are over $150 a day. Ridiculous.

PEAK 6 at Breck is the best! Love it. Tough getting down the bowl for some beginner skiers but after that, its amazing.

Tons of new terrain open since 12 years ago. So just depends on what you wanna ski.

You're gonna be here at a great time though. Miss this holiday madness.

I went last February, and it was my first time Skiing there. Definitely get out there early, because the parking fills up quick. Carpool for sure, and you save some money for parking. Also take a day for lessons if you haven't skied in a long time. It helps a ton! The blues are a lot of fun along Peaks 7 and 8 I believe.

I think the plan is to take the shuttle to the lift so parking won't be an issue. Probably gonna stick to greens and blues, haven't decided about lessons yet. Might try to just get out there and see how much coordination and balance I've lost over the last 12 years haha.

Lift 6 is my favorite. Some relatively easy soft bumpy blacks.

Then I guess I shouldn't complain about $381 for 3 day pass...
