i like most of the people in this thread believe that ISIS is behind both of the attacks. While German's laws are nothing like America. Apparently they operate on a two tier system when it comes to firearm ownership.

I shoot some pistol matches out here in AZ and the match director just so happened to meet a couple Germans (mid 50's) that were on vacation so he invited them to the monthly match. I was asking them about the gun laws in Germany and they said it's not even worth the hassle or the money to try to get a gun. I believe it was their first time shooting a semi auto handgun, but oddly enough, they were really big into western/frontiersman stuff and had shot a lot of blackpowder guns in Germany.
