Anyone live in Fort bend county near the Brazos? I know a lot of folks are evacuating Richmond and rosenberg. Missouri city is going to see its levee system pushed to the limit.

How is it looking in your area?

Is Missouri City a city or a state?

I live about 75 yards from the levee in the back. Fingers crossed but thank god I have flood insurance.

ETA: I don't think we will be stuck in the neighborhood. It could get hairy and close but I think we can still get out through steep bank on the backside and sienna ranch on the front side. Bees Creek is the only real area who may get stuck, but they are even saying they should be fine with the auxiliary road they are building for them to get in and out.

That's good news. I'm worried about this big rain event coming on the back half of the week. It's not going to help.

McKeever is already closed in one direction at the sienna parkway intersection.

I've been back off camp sienna a few years now and got flood insurance last year when camp sienna flooded and it got close to the top of the levee. You still in steep bank?

I went down McKeever this morning from the gas station and knew they would closing it soon because it was already coming over the road in one spot. 5 houses along there had their properties completely underwater already. The houses were on islands for the time being.

An auxiliary road to get in and out of your neighborhood isn't exactly a vote of confidence.
