Where you are in a cage one on one and have no concern for concrete, other people, weapons, or actual violence

A person trained in BJJ, alone in a cage with a person with a glock19 will be a dead BJJ person.

Thats the beauty of a firearm, you can kill your opponent before he can put a hand (or foot) on you.

You’re a badass in that position until you get a swift kick to the nuts.

BJJ also incorporates Judo, which teaches many forms of disarming and take downs from standing.

BJJ starts from the feet then goes to the ground.

Bjj = basically just judo, but most bjj places don't teach it like this.
You really have to check if you go to a sport oriented place with butt scooters and guard pullers or a place that teaches self defense and striking too.

True. I’ve heard this before. Many people tell me that many gyms teach only tournament jiu jitsu meant to score points in competition.

I go to a Kron Gracie gym and it’s the only one I’ve ever been to, so my experience is the latter. Lots of self defense and judo. There’s even a wrestling day.

My personal suggestion as best is Okinawan Kempo Karate fighting style. That shite is hardcore.
