This is absolute horse shite. This is the family who opened the Outback Steakhouse @ Acadian in Baton Rouge(later sold to Corporation).

Advocate Article

This is the problem with justice system when rich people can pull THIS shite right here and get off with 'insanity'.

quote:

Moody, a Lafayette resident with a history of mental illness, is accused of firing several shots into a Cadillac Escalade belonging to his ex-wife’s boyfriend after she and the boyfriend returned from dining out about 11 p.m. on July 22.

Does he not have a history of mental illness?

He's just going to rot in a state hospital until he can stand trial. Which might be never.

I have seen poor and unconnected people be found incompetent to stand trial several times.

Normally, I'd agree. I know this guy, and believe me....he's a loony bird.

Not arguing that he's not fricked in the head. I've met him years ago.

But he knew damned well who he was shooting at and why. That's the issue.

Oh shush. His family money has probably benefited you in some way, rich laffy-boy.

This case smells just like Affluenza and can't believe the justice system lets this happen like a slap in the face to the poor and middle class.

Wut? Was there a documented history of mental illness in that case? I'm really failing to see your point in this thread. A guy with documented illness was declared unfit because of his documented illness. What exactly should be done differently?

I mean, is he actually mentally ill?

Ive dealt with this guy a few times and he is absolutely bat shite crazy and has the money to fund his craziness. A few years ago he shot up his house and staged a break in and wrote messages on his refrigerator in an attempt to convince his family people were after him.

After that didn't work he said frick it and just burnt the place down.

On one occasion he told me he was fishing in his lake and someone was doing surveillance on him in the woods so he fired a shot with his 30-30- rifle into the woods and they ran away. All I could think of is who the frick goes fishing with a 30-30

Without a doubt.

Issue is just because you have a documented mental illness, does NOT make you unfit for standing trial for trying to kill someone who ALREADY had a protective order against you in the past.

You could say this thread isn't going as planned. Didn't expect all you frickers to defend this guy.

EXACTLY what I'm saying about the whole FBI is after me shite. He's a fricking nutjob but he's very smart and knows how to mask his evil behavior behind his documented illness.

So, he fabricated the whole 'history of mental illness' thing?

Your own damn quote says the guy is and has been mentally ill. How is it "horse shite" that they found him incompetent?
