I would hope the doctor had an MRI done prior to surgery. I also dont think this is an appropriate procedure in office.

You'd be surprised. Had a guy that had a lipoma shaped like a large airplane pillow before finally getting it removed

No kidding. I had a small, fatty tumor on my back not too far from where this one was centered. I didn't wait long. There has to be a point where you get your arse to the doctor's regardless of circumstances

My body is riddled with lipomas but insurance will not pay to have them removed unless they cause issues. I have had only one removed in my lifetime due to complications it caused. So I understand why some may not get them removed.

I really wish I hadn't watched that. I don't know what I was thinking.

My dad would take these things off in office, but he is a general surgeon in practice since 1970. A competent physician has seen everything and knows more than an MRI will tell them.

Scratch the hell out of them onecat a time 30 min before going into doctor's office so it's red. Then report to the doctor, so it's documented, the lipoma is painful and growing. The insurance will cover the removal.

I've removed a cyst from someone's head before and had a hard time watching that.
He let that thing get way too big!
