Somehow this story is STILL top story on the Advocate this morning. Boy, absolutely nothing must have happened over the weekend.

Pathetic effort by The Advocate to get the story right. At least they spelled the names right. People- you shouldn't take any of this story as fact, except for the fact that she was booked into PP and subsequently released. I'm guessing Mr. Rhys is friends with someone at The Advocate to have this story run.
Another issue for me is the fact that even if the story as it is written was factual and true, there is absolutely no reason for it to be anything other than 2 lines in the police blotter section. Certainly doesn't warrant top billing. Prurient sensationalism. I don't even think the Enquirer is quite this bad.

Seriously- what The Advocate reported is not the story here. I am not either one of the parties so it is not my business to tell the story. However, be skeptical of what you read. This article makes me lose faith that anything I read on the Advocate has been vetted for factual information.

The Advocate should be ashamed of that article, especially the part where it named the informant. It makes them look like the Mayberry Times. If Lil Boosie or Master P wreaks havoc in BR, then maybe that is relevant. But Allison Collins?? A washed up cover band singer?? Jeez. Who cares?
