LINK

Some really interesting things that jump out:

Bluebonnet stops at Highland. Coursey stopped at Stumberg.

Proposed/anticipated extension of Siegen from Burbank curve (to Nicholson [which would have run right through UClub])

Very little development on Highland or Perkins (beyond Siegen). No Santa Maria. Nothing on Pecue.

You know damn well you stole my link from the wreck thread. I love those old maps they have available. Every so often I'll pull up old ones and compare to current BR.

I absolutely did. All credit to you in finding it. But it did deserve a separate thread.

I love to look at old maps of BR and imagine alternate futures where everything doesn't turn out so shitty.

Siegen lane didn't continue into Sherwood. It ended at airline highway.

Another neat thing to do is go on google earth and you can turn the time back.

Not sure what you mean here. It still ends at Airline.

I wouldn't even consider that a Boulevard. Maybe a cul-de-sac.

Took 30 years to build out all the yellow areas and over burden Bayou Fountain, Ward Creek, Dawson Creek, Claycut Bayou, Comite River, Jones Creek, and Bayou Manchac... all of which try to drain into the Amite at Port Vincent.

The only plan in place was to build and see what happens. If anyone thinks last year was a fluke, stay tuned.

As a father I could empathize but we can agree as the law reads that was a no no.

Not sure how I would respond either.
