Probably a good idea. There are plenty of folks in BR that want to kick that guy's arse

That's a bit too much. You're telling me he couldn't hold his own umbrella?

Well that's absolutely true, I don't personally see any way otherwise.

Delgado is a joke. The man is silent through the whole situation then shows up for this?

So basically he doesn't support our police force? I'm not a Kip fan but Kip is a smart man in staying out of it. As Mayor President you have an obligation to the people of EBR and to the Police force who works for you.

Delgado needs to stick to the 3rd st bars as he is unfit to be Mayor/Parish President of EBR.

His handling of St.George was a joke. I'll do anything I can to make sure this clown isn't elected.

BR is fricked no matter who is mayor.

The more far left section of black democrats in BR will likely be taking over and its not going to end well.

We're going to be remembering Kip Holden fondly. God I wish he could run for a 4th term.

Well keep in mind the Mayor is in reality the Mayor-President so all of the unincorporated areas vote including Baker, Central and Zachary.

I agree, I'm for Bodi all the way

He would be the best option for EBR republicans for sure.

Delgado is a slimeball. All it takes is to move the needle away from him is an endorsement for Bodi from a high profile republican. Maybe a group endorsement from Louisiana's entire republican delegation to Congress could do it.

I was seriously thinking BR will turn into Jackson when I was reading this thread. I have no love for Baton Rouge, but it's going to be sad.

And the shortsighted, simpleminded citizens who fought St. George will be to blame, because a growing city of St. George would have bolstered the conservative population of the parish. Without SG, Ascension and Livingston will see that growth instead of EBR.
The impact of a Jackson, MS type voter shift will have devastatingly worse consequences on the city of BR than SG incorporation would have had.
