Heroin, among other drugs, is a growing problem in BR. I know first hand due to some family issues. I have an idea to help the parents of those, who like me, were naive. For those who have questions. For those who want to help. But, I need y'alls help. Do y'all know anyone who can help build a website? It was said that maybe an LSU student looking for a project? I am working with the coroner, the DA, and the police to put together something to help stop this epidemic. Any input and ideas are welcome. Please, no smart arse comments. This is something serious that can affect any of us.

After detox direct the addicts to AA or NA. Nothing else will work unless you want to trap people on Suboxone.

You caught it SS. Pill addictions lead to heroin addictions. And OP is a pill pusher

Mir and I have been talking in the back channels trying to get an OT camp together to help disenfranchised youth. Everyone on the OT will utilize their specific skill. Example: Aspy using horses, Owlfan using dildos, Chris using legs (LOL I'm just joking).... but you get the gist

thank you for the help! so, the laptop does not have the largest hard drive, but I have an external hd that has plenty of room. any advice on setting up the external hd with the laptop and wm? i have plenty of cat 5 cables for the setup. should you like to drop me an email off line, your medical rep at yahoo.

Here's the OP casually pushing his pills on TD. He hates heroin, but I'm sure he'd love to get all those addicts on one of the pills he represents

I have an old buddy from back home that has been battling drugs for ten or so years now. During this time, he lost his wife and two kids, numerous high paying jobs, houses, all the clothes, guns, etc that he owned. He's been MIA for the last six to eight weeks ago and I just found out Friday that he was back in rehab somewhere.

I am to the point that I have zero sympathy for him and his situation. The ex-wife has remarried and the kids now have a stepfather that seems to love them. If losing one's family is not enough to get someone's attention and steer them straight, nothing will. This guy's life is forever ruined and nothing will change that fact.

Want to stop the herion epidemic then follow Switzerlands lead and offer government herion clinics. Our government has to actually want to stop the epidemic, it's painfully obvious that the war on drugs is nothing but one big money grab.

Respectfully, you're asking someone to care about the life of a drug addict more than they care about their own life. It's sad but true. And I do mean respectfully. This is why the war on drugs is so difficult to fight. You're fighting an angry fight against the supply, and a compassionate fight against the demand. Also, why do you need a free website if you're working with those authorities? I can promise you there are federal and state funds to fund a website for drug warfare, and are likely already built.

My bad Brazos, this post was intended to be a reply to the OP.

The only thing I'm saying the criminal aspect of drug use and drug dealing is BIG business for the USA. Many many many jobs would be lost if the "war" on drugs would actually succeed.

Have you ever researched how heroin was created?

RXRep, pharmacy companies are responsible for the rise of heroin. People get addicted to "safe" pain pills and look for cheaper alternatives.

You do realize drug reps "rep" hundreds of products that have nothing to do with opioids right? This person could rep a drug for eczema or blood pressure for all you know... how many prescription meds do you have in your cabinet right now for something acute or long term? OP may rep those?

Bingo. Do people actually think that big pharma didn't know the original OxyContin would take off like wildfire in the streets and get millions addicted? They knew exactly wtf they were doing.

Why didn't we think of this sooner? Think of all the lives lost to addiction that could have been prevented, if only we had created a website!!!

What were we thinking?
