He really needs to let that crap go if he wants to be in politics.
I don't know the circumstances of this, but I'm guessing Heck was handing someone their arse in a political debate on Facebook (which IMO he should use sparingly), so they resorted to calling him a racist.
People will accuse others of racism as a last resort when they dislike their stance or politics. It occurs too often as a means to move a logical argument into an emotional realm. It means nothing these days other than a serving as a rally cry for angry people, and trivializes real racism while creating more general skepticism of such accusations.
