Checked it twice, both times in the 180's. Took my BP medicine late today but this is pretty high.

Should I go have it checked out, or wait an hour and check it again?

See your doctor Monday unless you start noticing that you just don't feel right.

I have been 200+ over 110 and i was feeling like shite. I laid down and it went away after a while. I too take medicine and used to have major issues. This particular time was after eating a super high sodium meal.

If you are prone to panic this could also have an effect.

I would lay down and try to go to sleep. If it is still 180 + in the morning you may consider getting it checked out.

If you are watching the LSU game, turn it off.

I'm definitely going in - but I feel decent right now and my heart rate was 59 bpm.

I did take an aspirin.

That BP is too high, but as long as you're not having any symptoms, you can wait until your primary care doctor's office opens of Monday. You will need to start/increase your BP meds.

The reading is also inaccurate if you don't take it with both feet flat on the ground while sitting in a chair with arms for 5 minutes the arm at heart level and not talking/moving.

Yea mine woke me up last night from a dead sleep with a bad arse headache. Np was high. Heart palpitations.

Took an alka seltzer went back to bed. Aspirin helps. Are you dehydrated?? I was bad last night. Your BP goes up. Headache in the back of your head? Classic dehydration. Start consuming room temp water. 10 oz every half hour. Recheck BP.
