It is night and day. I've dumped many girls because they were annoying or I found someone else more interesting, but once I got married that was it. I have to work around those annoyances and abstain from opportunities that 15 years ago I'd have likely taken. I have to be a better person, a more understanding and patient person, or I lose half my stuff and increase the chance of my daughter ending up dancing on a pole because her stable home life was ripped from her.
