The dipshit owner of Everything Philly is responsible for paying for the hundreds of elderly bussed in for the city council meeting that decided on the COA tax. frick that guy.

I will not spend a penny more at Everything Philly, First Financial Bank (I don't bank there anyway), and Everything Philly Ice Express.

quote:

Invoices and receipts for those items, which The Advocate obtained through a public records request, show that the COA leaned on donors to help out with their latest political battle.

Ameen Walker — who owns First Financial of Baton Rouge, Everything Philly, Everything Philly Ice Express and several other local businesses — said he asked Council on Aging executives how he could help them as they prepared for the June 14 council meeting because he knew he'd be out of town. When they told him they were looking for donors to pay for buses, he said, he wrote them a $650 check.

COA is a crime family. They are the hood ornament of Baton Rouge corruption.

Isn't this the place that Tyrus Thomas is a part owner of?

Interesting. I could see the owners of Chicken Shack or Mo Hair being behind this, but wouldn't have expected a Philly Cheesesteak place and/or bank.

If you'd ever been in everything Philly, you'd get it. It's run like the coa in every way.

There's no reason to go there when you can get a much better philly (at a better price) across the street at Roul's.

Philadelphia is much better city than New Orleans, Baton Rouge, and countless others in the south. I'd go as far as saying it is one of the most, if not the single most, underrated major cities in the contiental US.

Whether you are a small business owner or a large corporation, your customers pay you for the product that you provide. They don't buy your product because of your political party affiliation or beliefs.

For Ameen, he should be more concerned about what he is going to do today to drive in more business than yesterday. Instead, he has the potential to alienate half of his customer base.

Dumb is dumb. But this falls in right line with those that support EBRCOA, Dytarsha, Dorothy, Chauna, Regina and C. Denise.
