Just finished All of Erik Larson's books, finished up with the big short. I need more books to help keep me occupied, any suggestions?

All the Light We Cannot See is truly amazing. The single best novel in years.

Also, iMO, it is your duty as a born southerner to read Absalom Absalom! before you die so you might as well start now.

You're on the OT at 3 in the morning. I'd suggest the Bible.

The bible: terribly over rated fiction.

I'm not a son of the south, but I have adopted it.

Just a shitty joke. TD is dead this time of night and I just felt like post padding.

Already read it, and there isn't anything worth jumping on deployment wise right now.

If you want a mental break, I reread The Giver recently, and it was still good as an adult. I also read The Falconer by John Cheever of Seinfeld fame...and the Pulitzer too, I guess.

Fearless. It's a Navy Seal book but will make you realize you probably won't ever accomplish anything in life, but a great book.

The Last Kingdom by Bernard Cornwell. A show of the same name just started on BBC America too.

Just went to his webpage and all of those books look great. How were they? Was most interested in the Lusitania and Hitler books but I've never read a non-fiction novel

Just finished reading Stephen Kings 11/23/63. I highly suggest it. Totally different than his other works. Also they're making a minseries on it which is due out early next year on Hulu.
