I just got off the phone with a coworker who's in Westlake, he said the water was a lot worse yesterday than today. Still raining though

You were within reason to read it like it was. I went back and edited it to show what I thought was funny about OP but nothing to make light of in the first place. My fault.

That's good news. I was born and raised in LC and my entire family lives there. Looks like they are going to get some serious rain over the next couple of days. So just hoping for the best for the community. I live in Houston and have been very fortunate with how bad it has been.
