Sure an investigation is justified. Absolutely. My rhetorical question is, "will the media conclude this story and announce it as a suicide once it's been investigated?"
I highly doubt it. They are hoping that riots happen as a result of the story. Then, each media outlet has different angles to approach it. The whole thing is so obvious.

Normally I'm with you, but if you can't see why this raises eyebrows let me remind you of the last recording lynching in the U.S. - 1981, Micheal Donald.
It just hasn't been long enough to pretend like finding black men hanging from trees is just ho-hum.
