Black Man Found Hanging from a Tree in Rural Part of Georgia

The man found hanging, identified as Roosevelt Champion, 43, was interviewed recently in connection with the death of a woman named Carol Lewis.
It's unclear what, if any, ties he had to her, and Wooten declined to speculate on whether there could be a connection between their deaths.
Champion's body was found hanging by a passerby in Greensboro, which is about 80 miles east of Atlanta. His feet were touching the ground, and his knees were slightly buckled, Wooten said. There was nothing to suggest an immediate struggle.

This reminds me of the similar incident that happened in Mississippi a few months ago. I haven't heard anything on that since so I'm assuming they ruled that one suicide

The underlined part is absolutely not true. If the suspect has done something wrong and is black the media will go to great lengths to avoid using their skin color. Same case when the person is of a particular political party.

This is how they hang themselves in prison as opposed to jumping off something and cracking the neck. They tie something around their neck and lean into it until they pass out and eventually strangle out. Guess it is less painful?
They will be able to tell pretty fast based on the presence of lack of struggle at the scene.

It appears to me race is only mentioned when only one particular race is involved.
