Also environment? How high end is the place he was being photo'd? I know Carmel is VERY high end, but place to place? How high end was this particular establishment?

Pathetic to take pictures of someone without permission. Absolutely pathetic.

Police were called to the bar, but Murray left before they arrived. Police, however, caught up with the 65-year-old star and talked to him.

Is this really Murray's claim to fame or is this just being used since Groundhog Day recently passed?

Hopefully it is the latter, because if not, that is like saying Robert De Niro is the 72 year old "Meet the Fockers" star.

Like a boss.. Those folks learned a lesson in life. Murray will replace the phones, life continues on as normal, with the exception of a little newly learned lesson in common courtesy by a few people.

Murray is a douche IRL and hires douches.

I have never met a more douched up individual than Bill Murray. Vijay Singh is a close second though.

Who cares? You're in public.

Obviously if it is for a creepy purpose (photos of kids that aren't yours, hot girls on a beach, etc.) it may be different. But a lot of people take pictures of scenes that have people as an integral part of them. If you can do it without making people feel uncomfortable, I say have at it.

Douche move,

Murray has a history of being a notorious photo bomber and has even crashed weddings.

And all of a sudden it wasn't funny anymore.

You don't see the difference between a lighthearted photobomb and people taking pics of you w/the flash on from 10 feet away while you are trying to eat dinner? Really?

There is a legitimate argument for Groundhog Day as his best film as a lead. Should they have called him the Ghostbusters or Stripes star instead? Should they have gone with Rock the Kasbah, Aloha, or Saint Vincent since those were his most recent releases? Or maybe they should have said the star of A Very Murray Christmas or the voice of Baloo in the upcoming live action Jungle Book?

Never understood why anyone would even want a picture of a celebrity who isn't even posing.

If this had been Cam Newton, Kanye, or Kobe, this boards heads would explode and everyone would be calling that police dept demanding charges be filed.
